Simple Crescent Cinnamon Rolls

This one is so simple. And so delicious.

You'll need these items for the rolls:
1 can refrigerated crescent rolls (8 crescents)
1tbls butter
brown sugar

You'll need these items for the icing:
1/4 cup powdered sugar
A tiny bit of vanilla
A pinch of brown sugar
And enough milk to make it thick like icing (a couple tsp.)

Heat the oven to 350. Take the crescent dough from the tube, and ball it up into one big ball. Grab your roller and roll out a rectangle. Smooth some softened butter over the dough, evenly. Sprinkle on your brown sugar and then your cinnamon. Start from one short end and roll the dough into a long log. Cut the log every inch to make little rolls. Put these little rolls on a greased pan and pop 'em in the oven for 10 minutes. (You can cook them a little longer, but I like them soft and gooey.) While they are baking, make your icing. Honestly, no need to dirty up a bowl. I used a small coffee mug. Just fill the mug halfway with powdered sugar. Add your pinch of brown sugar and your drops of vanilla. Then add a few tsp. of milk until the mixture thickens like icing.
When the oven beeps and the rolls are done, drizzle the icing over the tops of the rolls. Let them cool a bit and serve as a dessert or breakfast treat!

We had these last night as a dessert after making Taco Hotdish. That recipe is next!
